If I Did It: Why I Might Say “Nappy Headed Ho’s” (even
though I didn’t)
1.
Anti-double
standard. Blacks are allowed to disparage other races, including their own with
relative impunity. So perhaps I felt a little resentful of this double
standard. Perhaps I am annoyed with always having to pay for the sins of my
fathers. And so in a moment of weakness, I give voice to this subconscious
resentment.
2.
Inter-generational
strife. The younger generation seems to have less respect for traditional
values. Now they’ve gone and got all tatted up. Women are ballers.
Kids be havin’ sex. Got no
respect. I waited for sex. God dammit. They should
too.
3.
Okay
fine, I am a racist.
