As far as I can tell, the best band currently
touring--and certainly the band responsible for the
best album of the past 4 years--is The Hold Steady.
(The album: Boys and Girls in America.  Go and buy it
now.  I'll wait.  GO!!!)  They are coming to Houston.
The date is Thursday, June 7.  I know most of you
don't know of them.  Of their power.  Believe me: it
is great.  They are Rock N Roll.  I must go, and I
must buy tickets.  I will buy them on Friday.  You all
should come.  If you want me to buy you tickets too,
email.  Otherwise, ignore these rantings.  For
rantings they surely must be.
