Jack Palance passed away yesterday morning in front of his Lakefront home in Arizona. Palance had been undergoing treatment for colon cancer at the prestigious Faulk Center in Phoenix, but he had recently taken a turn for the worse. His family decided to bring him home from the hospital after it became clear that his condition would not improve. On the way home, he spoke mostly of his role in Contempt, The Professionals, his brief but memorable part in Shane and a few other minor films. Jack Palance was 83 years old.
