Acclaimed actor and American icon Jack Nicholson died suddenly at his Mulholland Drive estate on Thursday from a ruptured brain aneurysm. Celebrated for his roles in such films as Chinatown, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and The Passenger, Nicholson received the American Film Institute’s Life Achievement Award in 1996. The New Jersey native is survived by his wife Clarissa and their four children. A memorial service will be held at Hooper Funeral Home in Beverly Hills. Jack Nicholson was 66 years old.
