I did actually write a story from beginning to end yesterday.  Its skeleton was a dream I had with Lynn Redgrave in it, involving the hiding of Jewish artists in WWII.  My brain she is working in vinyl while my soul she is sleeping.

I'll transcribe the first draft for you shortly.

bull!

anyway in mine he had just bought a new porsche except it looked like a a-romeo and it was too small for him bc he was like 6 6

even though i know that he wasn't that tall.

but in my dream...

anyway then i started asking him if he should go back and put little annotations throughout all his music to indicate to people if they should in particular strum the guitar up or down on certain notes...

he was like, "oh man, are you kidding? you know how much work that would be?"

and i was like, "well, ok, i see what you mean. well what about just a few key parts in some of the big songs."

haha. he was like, "ok, maybe. i could do that."

haha. what's funny though is like, that i would accuse any of his songs of NOT being major songs... hahaha. ridiculous. what a great dream tho!

then he told me to be quiet because i kept blabbing about his new porsche which was starting to attract attention from some nearby gangsters and i was totally not being cool about it.! isn't that also great?! what a dork i was! couldn't handle the fame! spaz'd out a little i guess. oh well. i wasn't meant to hang with someone that cool... but it was still fun.

Dude!  Was it a brown ragtop?  Because it's parked in front of my apartment.

That's too bad.

That car's been parked in front of our building for a couple of weeks now.  Somebody from the bar next door wrote a nasty note to the effect of "this street is not your storage space, buddy!! move your car, jackass!!"  the note has been removed but the car hasn't.  It hasn't even changed positions.

I think later I will go down and leave a note on the windshield, ostensibly from the owner of the car, and sign it "Jimi Hendrix."  If it's removed, I'll just write another one.

Which reminds me, did I ever tell you about the green dodge dart I used to have in my early 20s?  It was so  beat up and unclassy, to give it glamour I told people it used to be Squeaky Fromme's and people believed me.  Even though, as I recall, it was a '76 dart.

Fucktards! ha.
