I completely agree the experience would have been so different. the fun of traipsing from party to party in hopes some person you had a crush on would be there. not knowing where they might be that night…(or maybe that was just my experience?) anyway, that was fun. and the not knowing part made it all the better. it was like spin the bottle adult version. i always had 1-2 major crushes and 4-5 minors at any one time. so which of them would be at the party? can you imagine now? people just sitting in their room eating pizza in the dead of winter, saying to their more intrepid friends, “ok, well text me if she’s there...” and then just going back to their pizza. What kind of college experience is that? (I would totally have done that.)
